In a large bowl mix the contents of the Easy bake Vanilla Cake package along with the water and the melted butter at the 1st speed of the hand mixer for 2 minutes.
Incorporate the hazelnuts into the mixture and place it in a buttered pan with non-stick paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the resistors for about 50 minutes.
Heat the sugar over medium heat until it gets a brownish-golden color.
Remove from the heat and gradually add the heavy cream. Stir constantly so that it does not petrify.
Then add the butter and mix well until it melts. Finally add the salt.
Let the cake cool, pour over the candy and garnish with extra broken hazelnuts.
